Carving a wooden sculpture was my first thought when considering my background or past.

Wood work has always been a strong interest of mine, and the ocean has always been a sacred place.

However, if I was to re-create this artwork I would attempt more detail, possibly stylising the whale shark to be more personalised to my history... unfortunately my current woodwork skills restricted me to aim for simpler goals.
